Everybody at the table, except my husband had food that lacked flavor. That was good because he was no longer in the mood for a salad. On the third trip with his salad, it was brought after his entree was eaten. Our waitress blamed it on the chef but we felt like she should have seen the red pimentos and the purple onions when she brought it to the table. it took 2 times before they got that right. Our son had to send the salad back twice because he'd ordered it without onions or pimentos. she had to keep adding salt and pepper because it had no flavor. My daughter in law's chicken parmigiano and the pasta. They were hard to chew through because they were dry and over cooked. Our 7 year old granddaughter wouldn't finish her chicken strips and once I'd tasted them, I knew why. They seemed like they were in a huge hurry to get us out of there. When they asked if we'd wanted bread and we said yes, we didn't receive it until reminding her 2 more times.
The appetizer came out with the salads and about 2 minutes later, the entrees. While our waitress was nice enough, we had a hard time getting her attention to refill our coffee and other drinks. When we told our waitress, she said she'd already mentioned it to management. Several people got up, went outside and returned to their table with jackets. As soon as we were seated though, we'd noticed that it was absolutely freezing, even though it was over 100 outside. It was a busy weekend night so that was a plus. I can safely give it 2 stars because it was very clean and we were seated quickly. But, yes, we brought our son and his family, who were in from Colorado, here. I'd been hearing great things from friends about Pasta House so we thought we'd give it another try. It's been 2 years since I've eaten here and I gave it only 2 stars back then.
